Fun Day & Family Picnic

For today's Fun Day and Picnic at Ladywell Arena we had lovely sunshine, followed by showers.

We had hoped for good weather and we weren't disappointed! So for all of the races (three-legged, egg and spoon, 100m) as well as the cricket, other games and lunch, we had beautiful blue skies and only a little bit of cloud cover. It was only at four o'clock, when we were due to finish, that a downpour started and we got a little wet. So the ladies vs men tug of war was missed, but next year that event can continue. Nevertheless it was a great day out, showing you don't have to go far or spend a lot of money to enjoy yourself!
