VBS 2014 - Off to the Wilderness

During this last half term holiday there was a wilderness retreat at our church. Vacation Bible School or VBS took place and the youth hall was transformed into a desert wilderness to illustrate and teach the children about lessons from the Bible.The theme of the week-long programme was God looking after the children of Israel in the wilderness and touched on faith, trust and God's providence. The children were given a number of different activities to take part in including crafts, music and fun games.As well as children from our own church we had several children from the community who joined with us and as you can see from the photos it looks like everyone had a great time!
